Simon Says Stamp 'Snowglobe'

Did you know that there are only 65 days left to Christmas!! Take 20 of those off for mailing and that only leaves just over a month to get your cards made and in the postbox!

Simon Says Stamp have just released a fantastic lot of Christmas/Winter goodness called 'Believe In The Season'. I believe! Do YOU? ;-)

I love this time of year, it's when family and friends get together and catch up with all of the gossip of the previous 12 months, play games, eat drink and generally be merry!
I also love to send special handmade cards, I really don't like to send store bought cards to anyone and I like to think that the recipients do appreciate the thought  of receiving something especially made for them ;-)

The lovely Heidi and Simon team sent me a few samples of the new release ( and I will be buying more just as soon as I finish writing this post! ;-))

I made this using a fabulous Snowglobe Landscape Die, a Holiday Messages Strips Stamp Set and a yummy Barely Blue Ink Pad, I love this icy smoky blue, gorgeous ;-)

I kept the whole design fairly CAS, I wanted the globe and the simple stamping to be the focus, I also like to make sure that any Christmas cards I make fit into a standard envelope. Most of my cards are for international mailing and I do like to keep the costs down ;-)

One year I spent hours dismantling most of my cards, removing bulky flowers and replacing them with flatter die cuts so I could mail them, lesson learnt ;-)

I broke my foot on Monday, great start to the week! :-(
OUCH!!

As You Like It  Do You Prefer Old Or New Stash. I love opening up the packaging of a new product and thinking about how I can use it but I also like using my oldies but goodies too. I just love every crafty item I have and don't often part with anything ;-)

I adore this card - there's something about a snow globe!!! Hope you are getting around okay! I fell and broke mine when my boys were little - had one in my arms when I fell - he was OK but I hobbled to his baptism ceremony two days later! Take care, Chrisx
