Simon Says Stamp September 'Birthday Surprise' Card Kit!!

OOh I am sneaking in with a card made using the Simon Says Stamp 'Birthday Surprise' September Card Kit! My kit arrived yesterday and I was itching to use it! The contents of this kit are AWESOME and it's difficult not to use everything all at once, but as the saying goes, less is more!

I made this card following this weeks fab layout on the Sketch Saturday Challenge, which incidentally Simon Says Stamp is sponsoring ;-)

I strengthened the papers by adhering white card panels behind them. I cut a plain white banner and used various inks to stamp the sentiments. I thought the looked a bit too bold in color so I used a vellum overlay to soften them a bit ;-)

underneath the 'scratch off' sticker I have hidden a sentiment that only the birthday girl will see ;-)

and this is the lovely kit in all of its glory :-D I have to say I love those glitters too, I haven't used them on this card, but they are fabulous! ;-)
