Hi all, I hope you're all having a fabulous weekend! Heather is here on holiday and as my Simon Says Stamp July 'Handwritten Floral Greetings' Card Kit arrived yesterday we set ourselves our own challenge this morning. To make a card for the Less Is More 'Stencil' Challenge using the kit!
I made 2 cards, one more CAS than the other
First up is on the warm yellow tones
I stencilled the background using a Mini Bubble Stencil and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink. Got so carried away that I completely forgot to use the gorgeous mini ink pads that came in the kit!! Will blame it on Heather distracting me (haha) ;-)
I white heat embossed the flowers and coloured with Spiced Marmalade Ink, for the leaves I used Mowed Lawn
I also finished the inside! YAY me!! :-)
Next up is a one layer card. Here again I should have used the lovely Steel blue ink for the background instead of Tumbled Glass,,, blame Heather ;-)
I finished the inside too!
This is for a very special friend who is in theatre at this very moment having major surgery 😢
Thanks for looking, I hope you all have a lovely weekend, and for those of you who are completely gutted at the referendum result then you are invited to join me and Heather in an extra large G&T on my balcony ;-)
Here is the kit in all it's glory, Click on the pic to see the full product list. I have to say, I think this kit is one of my most fave ones, the colours and products in here are AWESOME! :-)

1st card
Alphabet 'I' for Ink It Up

Such beautiful card Lois. I have a question about the one that you made for a friend having surgery. Where did the Thinking of you stamp come from? It is not part of the card kit. Thank you!
