I was chosen as the Queen of Snark for the last Sisterhood Of Snarky Stampers Challenge and they invited me to be a GD for this challenge! Woo Hoo!! I am really tickled ;-)
'M' is for Mixed Media
I decided to make a Spring Tag using a gorgeous new Spring Flowers Stamp Set which is part of the latest Reason To Smile Release
I started by inking the die cut tag with Cracked Pistachio and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks and then splattered with water. After drying with a heat tool I stamped the grid with Potting Soil. I used a Dot Fade Stencil and some Embossing Paste to add some texture and while the paste was still wet I sprinkled with some new Antique Gold Embossing Powder (also from the Reason To Smile Release) and heated it to melt. It looks gorgeous doesn't it!!
I stamped the flowers onto watercolor Paper and coloured with Dried marigold and Squeezed Lemonade Inks, I used Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters for the leaves.
I love how this turned out and I hope you do to!
