Hello, friends! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog!
This week the challenge is...
One Layer!
For this challenge you may add die cut pieces and embellishments but the front of the card should look like one layer. We know this one can be tricky for some folks, but we also know you guys ROCK OUR SOCKS every week, so we can't WAIT to see what you do with the One Layer challenge!
We are showcasing PAPER SMOOCHES PRODUCTS this week. You don't have to use them to join in with the challenge, but if you have them we would love to see them used.
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store! I think that would be pretty fun to spend, how about you? *wink*
I used We Adore You and Sentiment Sampler Clear Stamp Sets and Frame 2 Wise Die to make a couple of aperture cards. I inlaid the frame die cut to keep the card from one layer.
First up is a Monster Birthday
I really love the little monsters in this set and couldn't wait to ink them up, aren't they adorable! :-)
I used acetate on the inside to create a window and add a bit of stability to the card, it makes it a nightmare to photograph though :-)
and this is the inside, I addd a strip of washi tape to ground the images, although, as they are monsters from outer space I think I maybe should have left them floating ;-)
I did intend to make a set of 4 cards using all of the images in the set but I ran out of time, but they are on my 'to do' list so I will be back :-)
So now it's YOUR turn, Happy Crafting
If you use instagram add #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too!

These are so cute! I especially like the monster birthday card, and the way you made them window cards. Great coloring, too! :)
