Playing with Watercolour

Hi all :-) The sun is shining and the birds are chirping ,,, what a lovely day :-)

I am here to share a card I made from Day 1 of the Watercolor for Cardmakers Class

I love the technique that Jennifer Rzaza demonstrated where you pool some watercolour then lay a stencil over it and let it dry.

I used Faded Jeans and Peacock Feathers Distress inks and a Tim Holtz Dot Fade Stencil to create this subtle background. I also used the same inks to colour a tag and then overlayed with vellum, stamped with white opaque stazon.

I am going to have a go at this technique again, using stronger colours, I really LOVE the effect of this !

I didn't know what sentiment to add so I left it plain, suitable for any occasion really don't ya think :-)

Challenges :
Splitcoast Stampers,,, Sketch
Addicted to Stamps and More ,,, CAS
Deep Ocean ,,, Distressing
Crafty Cardmakers,,,, insect as focal point
Quirky Crafts ,,, Something Beginning with 'S' Sequins,
Allsorts ,,,,, Butterflies

Hope you all have a great week :-)
Happy Crafting
