House Mouse 'Trim the Tree'

Only 252 days left ,,,, better get a wiggle on if you're going to get all your cards made in time !! haha :-) 

To be honest, we are getting ready for the summer here, the sun is shining, the flowers are in bloom and the pool is warming up nicely, so it's not feeling very Christmassy around here but I know that some of you are still enjoying the snow so it should be easier for you ,, hehe :-)

This week the very lovely Chris is hosting the challenge and she chose 

'H' FOR HOME 

so any cards depicting a home, or a decoration for your home etc ,,, you get the idea :-)

I had a little bit of a lightbulb moment for this one,,,, mousies decorating their tree 'IN' their home ! :-)

I used a smaller circle die from the Spellbinders Grand Circle set to partially die cut the semi circle in the wall. I also cut a 2nd piece of card and adhered to the inside with craft glue ( this is a solvent based glue and when it dries it feels like cardboard, very strong. As most of the front is missing it needed to be strengthened.

The street sign was made on the Silhouette Cameo. Here you can see them inside their 'home' trimming their lovely tree ,,,, awww :-)
