Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit Chalkboard Card

Hi all :-) I hope you all had a lovely weekend and managed to sneak some choccy before the kids ate it all :-)

I am lovin’ the chalkboard look that is so trendy at the moment and thought I would have a go using the products in the Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit.

Now I am not sure what the ‘correct’ way to do it is and just thought I would experiment and am quite pleased with how it turned out :-)

I will link the products at the bottom of this post but just to add that I washi taped some plain white card before die cutting the stars.

This is really wonderful-is there a "correct" way to do it? I think if there is, you have certainly mastered it. Thank you for trying this new technique and sharing it with us at Opus Glue. You've inspired me to try as well!! And I hope there was a bit more chocolate left after the kiddies got at it!

What a great card, fun and striking! It is a very versatile one too that could be used for men or women, and that's not easy to do! I love that you took to the Opus Gluei challenge to go outside your comfort zone and try something new. You sure did and you enjoyed it, that comes through on the terrific finished product! Thanks so much for playing with us!
