This week the challenge is ,,,,,,,,
TAGS or ATC's
you can add a tag or an ATC to a card or project too :-)
Tim Holtz Products
you don't have to use them to join in but as most people do have his products we would love to see them used :-)
I really enjoyed this challenge :-) ATC’s may be small but they are fun to make and it is a challenge in itself to create in miniature :-)
I started by cutting some Speciality Stamping Paper to ATC size ( though it is available ready cut to size too ) I then used a blending tool to colour 2 pieces using Stormy Sky, Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. I then flicked some water over them to create splotches and then, when dry I sprayed with Mister Huey’s Calico Shine.
I used a Tim Holtz ATC Flourish stamp inked with black Archival and then made a black shrink plastic Weathered Clock for the corner. The butterfly is from a Grungeboard Elements pack, coloured with a pearl acrylic dabber. I added some lovely flower trim from a Lavish Ribbon set, this was coloured with a Dusty Concord Distress Stain, dotted with Star Dust Stickles and I added a few Hero Arts gems to finish.
For the 2nd one I stamped a manequin from an Attic Treasures set, inked with Vintage Photo distress ink, rounded using an EK Success tool kit, added a twine bow and adhered with Scrap Dots. I coloured a strip of lace with the Dusty Concord Stain and stuck a hanger clip over it using Multi Medium. I used the spool stamp from the set and made a shrink plastic ruler, also in the set. I finished by faux stitching the edges with a copic multiliner pen.
Thanks for looking :) the DT have made some gorgeous tags and ATC’s so please hop on over to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge to see them :-)
