Stamp Something ,,,,, With Wings

Hi all :-) This is a scheduled post cos I am in a bar watching THE Wedding on a big screen :-)

Thanks for all your fabulous entries for the recipe challenge last week to the Stamp Something Challenge :-)

This week we would like to see THINGS WITH WINGS , it can be on the image or a punch or paper design ,,,, easy :-)

We are sponsored by the lovely Heidi at Simon Says Stamp so a fab $20 voucher for one lucky entrant :-)

For my card i followed the fab sketch on the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge. They are celebrating their 2nd Birthday with a blog hop too, Congratulations Smile

I used this gorgeous Hero Arts Beautiful Peacocks stamp and sentiment. I stamped the image with Versacolor and embossed with sparkle EP , I then coloured the image with Copics and decoupaged the bird and then the wing. I added Papermania blue glimmer dots and Star Dust stickles onto the feathers. The papers are My Minds Eye from the Hattie paper pad and I used a Tim Holtz Elegant Flourishes die. The flowers are a selection from Prima and the rose is from WOC.

Thanks for looking , the DT have made some gorgeous cards for your inspiration so hop on over to the challenge blog to see them Smile

Other Challenges :

The Stamping Boutique ,,,,, Things with Wings

Lorraine your card is awesome! I love your image, and the colors and coloring you've done are fantastic. LOVE the bling!

I looked at the "Simon Says Stamp" anything challenge, and I see my link to the "Feed the Birds" at #219. But it is hi-lited in a pale green, I'm hoping that doesn't mean anything. Maybe I linked it to both the children's and adult's in error? (I am regressing in my thinking lately, so maybe I thought I was a child when I did it. LOL) Hugs, dj1952

What a gorgeous card. Love that stamp and it's clever how your background paper is like the swirls on the bird's feathers!

Hope you're having a lovely weekend.
