Totally Papercrafts ,,,,,,, Charming !!

Oohh it looks like rain here today !! the clouds are looming !! this will be the first rain for MONTHS and it is usually full of dust and makes a right mess of the windows !! The plants need it tho ,,, they're all desperate and I dare say all the little mice, bunnies and rats in the fields are parched ! they will be happy ,,, :-)

Anyway ,,, moving on to the new theme over on the Totally Papercrafts Challenge, this week it is Joanne's turn to choose and she chose

'CHARMING' ,,,, pretty easy ,,, use a charm on your project :-)

For my card I followed Dawny's fab sketch on the Anyone for Anya Challenge I really wanted to use my new 'Monday' stamp that was one of the items I chose when I won Pops candy recently :-) thanks Pops x x :-)
I coloured her with copics and inked around the edges with Black Soot Distress ink. the papers are Basic Grey
tho I am not sure which pad cos the front fell off ,,, so if anyone can tell me I would appreciate it :-) the flowers are Prima and I also used a Prima Say It in Pearls center ,,, love these !! The charm was in my charm drawer and the fabric ribbon is from Papermania :-)

Simon Says ,,,,, Lace and Pearls

This week we would like to see

PEARLS AND LACE on your creations :-)

If you don't have pearl gems you can use pearly buttons, pearl glimmer mist, liquid pearls, perfect pearls,,, pearlescent card ,,, lots of possibilities and the lace can be paper lace, lacey design paper, lacey border punch ,,, not necessarily fabric lace.

The DT and our lovely GD Jackie have all used Magnolia products this week ,,, well , as the theme is Lace and Pearls I think Tilda is in the limelight ,,, I doubt we will be seeing very much of poor Edwin this week !! :-) If you have any Magnolia images we would love to see them but you can use whatever you like on your creations.

As always our lovely Boss Heidi is sponsoring this challenge with a $25 trolley dash around her Simon Says Stamp Superstore ,,,, and she will pay the postage costs too :-)

pssst ,, have you seen the new Lili of the Vally stamps and Unmounted House Mouse stamps in store ,, as well as loads of new Whiff of Joy and Penny Black stamps too ,,,, lorry loads of new goodies arriving daily from hundreds of different crafty companies !!! :-)

For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge I used my new Magnolia Wish Tilda stamp, did you notice she has her shoes on the wrong feet ?? :-) I coloured her with copics and added star dust stickles and copic glitter pen for sparkle. The papers are Magnolia too, I think from the Yummy Tummy collection ,, I do have the fairytale ones too ,, so why didn't I use them !!! cos I forgot I had them !! Anyway ,, I think these are lovely too :-) I used Lilac card and lilac coredinations too, all the papers were inked with Vintage Photo distress ink. The Pearls are Prima Say it In Pearls and have these gorgeous little roses with them :-)



The lace I have had for ages in my drawer , I did try to use a more fancy lace but I must admit lace is not my fave and I find it difficult to use ,,it always looks 'wrong' on my cards and gorgeous on everyone elses !! :-) The flower was a mix of Prima and others from my drawers too ,, sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist and star dust stickled :-0

Good Morning all :-) time for a new theme over on the Papertake Weekly Challenge This week Dawny has chosen,,

For my card I went with Robbie William's She's the One which you can hear here if you like :-)
I used my Lovely Confetti HM stamp, coloured with copics and dollops of star dust stickles here and there :-) I used one sheet of Basic Grey paper from the Two Scoops paper pad, some beige coredinations and I embossed a little ivory stardream card with a Tim Holtz swirl embossing folder. I added one type of ribbon ( OK I cut it into 2 bits !! ), 1 gem and 1 flower :-)

I chose this very cute Bathing Babies HM stamp. I coloured the image with copics and used Rock candy,star dust stickles and Robins Nest dew drops for sparkle. Before moving on to the next Sketch and Stash Challenge I would just like to say a sad farewell to Becky and Lisa who have both decided to step down from the team. Becky was the first person to give me a GD post and I was thrilled to bits :-) I am sure we will all keep in touch tho and I will continue to stalk your blogs :-)

On a brighter note we have 3 new DT girls joiining us from the next challenge ,, so a BIG welcome to Jackie, Sonia and Nicola Welcome to the team girls :-)

I used a Meljen image that my friend Emma bought me for my b'day and this is the first time I am using it :-) This one is called She Loves Animals and is on sale at the mo' 25% off :-)The papers are OLD !! I think these were some of the very first papers I bought when I started cardmaking almost 4 years ago and I think they are Craft Creations. The flowers and button were in my drawer and the sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp sentiment set :-)
