Peggy Love's Vintage Easter Contest :-)

I have made this card to enter a fabulous Contest on the Peggy Loves Vintage blog. To enter you need to download and print this gorgeous bunny image and then make whatever you like :-) Easy !! :-) The image printed facing the oposite direction on my printer ,, I have no idea why !! All the DT girls did it right !! :-)

The spotty paper is from a Wild Rose Studio paper pad and I used a strip of red from basic Grey too. The scalloped border was made using an SU punch. The flower is Prima , sprayed with pearl glimmer mist and the glimmer dots ribbon were from my stash. The bow was made using a bow easy ,,, fab gadget ! :-)

There is a lovely insert that you print to pop in your card too ,, I have used it but forgot to take a piccy :-) It is lovely though ,, you can see it on the Peggy Loves Vintage blog. It finished the card off perfectly ! :-)

This is a piccy of the fabulous prize on offer but you have to be quick the competition closes on Friday !!!! :-)

For my card I used this lovely teapot imeage from Stretch and Bubbles :-) I coloured the pot with copics and then sprayed with pearl glimmer mist to give it some shimmer :-) I then cut around the teapot and popped it onto the cuttlebugged and glittered circle. The papers are a Funky Fairys digi download which are now available from Simply Shaz Digi's . The set I used was Feeling Fruity Shabby style:-) Lovely set !! The flowers are prima ,, sprayed with pearl glimmer mist and the charm was a birthday gift from teamie Helen :-) Thanks Helen :-) xx The sentiment was printed on my comp.

The Design team have all used Tim Holtz products on their creations. You don't have to but we would like to see you use them if you have them :-)

Heidi will be giving away a $25 shopping spree to the Simon Says Stamp Store and she will pay for the shipping too :-) There are lots of new products in store too ,,, so many in fact it is difficult to keep up with them ! Every day gorgeous new stuff is arriving :-)

GUNN here in the Designer Spotlight :-) If you haven't visited her blog yet you really should , her work is amazing :-)


I love messing about with ink :-) I may not be very good at it but I do enjoy doing it ! Tim makes it look so easy doesn't he !



I have recently had a lovely shopping spree at the Simon Says Stamp Store, mainly in the Tim Holtz section, and bought all the new colours of distress inks and they are GORGEOUS ! I also bought some tags to go with them ,,, and some other bits and bobs ,, well ,, things just fall into your basket ,,, and it was my birthday so I could go a bit mad eh !! :-) I think we need shopping trolleys not baskets on these web sites !! :-)



I used stormy sky and victorian velvet distress inks sprayed with water then the tags dropped into it ,,, there is a fab video tutorial on Tim Holts's blog showing this technique, there are several video tutorals on there which are brilliant and you should see them if you haven't already ! :-) I did some masking and and then applied ink directly over the mask to give some design to the tags. I then stamped images from my new Urban Chic set, added various Tim Holtz ideology bits and fragments.



I really did enjoy making these and am definitely going to join in with Tim's 12 days of Christmas Tag Challenge this year :-)
