Just look what the postie brought :-)

I saw this gorgeous creation on Anne's blog AKA Craftyanny a few days ago click here to see her post :-)

This morning the postie popped it in my letterbox :-) What a lovely surprise ,,, I am absolutely thrilled to receive this :-)
Thank You so much for this Anne ,,, I love it and the images are lovely :-) I will definitely be using them :-) I love the Squigglefly image you used on the front ,, :-)

Now onto some explanations ,,, Joanne AKA Crafting Joanne has started a new blog called Pay It Forward Crafting Style :-)

ABC Challenge 'M' is for Masking :-)

Well my first fortnight as a menber of the ABC Challenge DT was busy ! We had over 400 entries !! WOW !! Thank you to everyone for joining us and for the lovely comments you left for the DT too :-)

For our theme this week we have one of my fave techniques for you :

MASKING :-)

We are being sponsored by the fabulous Katarina from Whiff Of Joy :-) She had given us one of her fabulous stamps ,, perfect for all your Valentines Cards :-) Katarina is also looking for Guest Designers if you are interested in applying :-)




For my card I used the lovely Willow with Hot Chocolate stamp and her lovely comfy arm chair :-) I coloured her with copics and then cut the whole image out and decoupaged it onto some stripey 'wallpaper looking' paper :-) The papers are from a Papermania Regency paper pad, these are perfect with this image and I specifically bought this pad to use with these stamps !! :-) All the edges were inked with antique linen distress ink to give it an 'antique' look.

The beautiful rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts, I made some glimmer mist using antique linen didtress ink and a little water and a couple scoops of perfect pearls, which I then sprayed the flower with ,, then added some stickles for added sparkle :-)

The beautiful charm was a gift from Heidi at Simon Says Stamp ,, I love these antique looking ones ,, makes a lovely change from silver :-)

The sentiment is from a Clare Curd Papermania sentiment set and I added a few chocolate drops to finish :-)

Simon Says PUNCH IT :-)

We had a fantastic response to our Shabby Chic Challenge :-) I must say the high turn out really surprised us ,, we thought we were giving you quite a difficult one ,,, I thought it was difficult and almost threw a sickie lol :-) BUT ,, it seems you loved all the lace and distressing :-)

Also as most of you know we are looking for TWO designers to join our Simon Says Stamp Challenge team :-) If you are interested you have until next Tuesday evening to enter the call :-) Good Luck to everyone :-) We know this is going to be a difficult decision ,,, the entries so far have been amazing and we know that MANY will be disappointed ,, but Heidi has put her foot down and said we can't ask everyone otherwise she would go bankrupt !!! :-)

Anyways ,,,,, on to the challenge this week ,,, we thought you could get all your aggressions out and start PUNCHING :-) Yes you have to use at least one punched item on your card ,,, or a corner punch ,,, :-)

We have the lovely and very talented Sue AKA Scoopystuff joining us in the Designer Spotlight this week :-) If you haven't visited her blog you should ,, not only are her cards fabulous ,, but she is so funny too and you are sure to leave her blog with a smile on your face :-)



For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge :-) I used my new lovely Happy Hoppers stamp this one is called Recipe for Friendship :-) very cute eh :-)
I coloured the image with copics and used crackle glaze on the bowl.

I used various punches :-) I used my lovely Martha Stewart border punch, it is actually a round the page one ,, :-) a leaf punch and for the sentiment I used SU oval and scalloped punches

The papers are Basic Grey and the flowers are Prima
which were sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist and stckles for added sparkle :-) I also used a few Robins Nest Dew Drops :-)
