New Technique :-)

I am currently doing a copics course at My Creative Classroom, it was a prize I won on the Friday Sketchers Challenge a couple of weeks ago. As part of our homework we have to try a new technique of using copic pens and another medium for shading and highlighting ,,, perfect for the Anyone for Anya Challenge who are asking for Something Completely Different :-)

I used Beatrix's fabulous layout on the Friday Sketchers Challenge for my card ;-)

I coloured Madelynn Anya with Copics and used a darker pink and white prisma pencils and blended with sansador. The Greeting Farm stamps are now available in the Simon Says Stamp store !! :-) I distressed the edges with worn lipstick and antique linen distress inks. The papers are My Minds Eye and I used maroon hammer card for matting.

I used some of my new gorgeous pure silk ribbon and made a perfect bow with a bow easy :-) The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp Exclusives sentiment set The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Thanks for looking :-) I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-) will get back to My Creative Classroom homework now :-)

I am entering this into the Colour Create Challenge too whose colour theme is Red, White, Chocolate and Pink :-) Is maroon counted as red?? It is a dark red !! I know it looks brown ,,, but it is maroon ,, honest !!

The Roses on Paper Challenge ,, Brown, Pink, Cream ( cream socks :-))

I have a GORGEOUS blog candy sponsored by Heidi at Simon Says Stamp if you would like to take a peek it is at the top of my blog :-)

Oh what a very cool technique, I sometimes blend chalks and copics, or Twinkling H2O's and Copics, but I never thought to use prismas with copics. Beautiful card!
