Simon Says Stamp Interlacing Trees

Hi all :-) I hope you're all having a fabulous weekend! 

Christmas is fast approaching, there are only 63 days left to go, and I need to really get cracking on making a load more cards!!

I just received a fabulous parcel of samples from the Simon Says Stamp Sending Cheer Release and in it was this gorgeous Interlacing Trees Die and  a pack of Christmastime EZ Strips Sentiments so they were my starting point. 

I die cut the Interlacing Trees out of black cardstock and used a Tim Holtz Lumber 3D Embossing Folder to add texture. I then added Prisma Glitter onto the tops of the branches. For the background I used a sheet of Whimsy Stamps Blurry Flurries Paper. I added some sparkly Snowflakes and finished with the Christmastime sentiment, to which I also added a frosting of glitter. 

I am thinking of making several of these, although I do like the trees in black, maybe I could use white or brown for the trees, hmm, what do you think?

Mama Elephant Spider Web Frame Die Set

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is 

HALLOWEEN/SPOOKY

We're showcasing some super spooky Mama Elephant products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I used a fabulous Mama Elephant Spider Web Frame Die Set

For the background I blended some Tim Holtz Black Soot Ink onto Watercolor Paper and then spritzed with water followed by splatterings of  Wilted Violet and Spiced Marmalade Distress Spritz. I added a few Tim Holtz Moonlight Scare Bats, Cat and some Halloween Confections to finish.

I used a super spooky Spellbinders: House Mouse Halloween Flight Cling Stamp Set 

I colored with Copic Markers and blended some Black Soot Ink around the edges. I used an old Tim Holtz Moonlit Owl Die and, after visiting THIS post on Carol G's blog, I added some North Star Sequins ;-)
