Simon Says: Fabulous Florals

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I made a set of 4 CAS cards to share today using Color Layering Happy Day Flowers Clear Stamp Set, 

I love the dandelion type stamp in this set, so delicate and pretty and perfect for CAS design cards or for creating beautiful backgrounds too.

 These are pretty self explanatory but I stamped the soft shades of the pigment inks first and then overstamped with the more vibrant die inks, this gives a lovely depth of color I think.

I could have gone on all day making these in a variety of colours but I ran out of time, I do intent to keep going though until I have used the whole set of the Hero Arts Pastel Pigment Ink Pads, the colours are so creamy and yummy!

I actually made these, intending to use them for the inside of the card, but thought they looked great as a card in their own right. I didn't clean the stamp properly, can you see the hint of yellow in there? that was deliberate ;-) haha

Simon Says Stamp Kids Summer Vacation Challenge

We are here with another of our annual Simon Says Stamp Summer Vacation Kid's Challenge where we host a special challenge dedicated to our young designers.

ANYTHING GOES WITH GLITTER

It is time for all you crafters to let your children loose in your crafty corners for a few hours. Just close your eyes and set them free to explore their creativity. You are allowed to hide your Copic Markers and extra special papers and you are allowed to help just a little bit if necessary, but we really want the children to 'DO IT' themselves as much as possible.

This challenge is open to all children aged between 2 and 16 inclusive

We have not 1, not 2 but  3 surprise parcels of crafty goodies, hand picked by Simon!

For this challenge we have a very special Junior Design Team who I am sure you will agree have done an excellent job.

Simon Says: Celebrate!

Thank you for joining us for the Add Some Texture Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

Celebrate!

We are celebrating our 6th Anniversary here on the Monday Challenge so we thought we should celebrate in style and use our very own Simon Says Stamp Products this week!

Obviously an anniversary is an extra special occasion so this week  Simon Says Stamp will be giving away not one but TWO $50 gift vouchers to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store. So we will have 2 winners this week!

I used a Stylish Simon Clear Stamp set and Coordinating Die  as the main focus of my card. Isn't he adorable ❤️

I started by daubing White Gesso over some Corrugated Card, from a Textured Surfaces Pack and then splattered with Tumbled Glass and Fresh Lime Inks and set aside to dry. I then moved on to making the shaker using a Birthday Frame Die and a Fuse Tool. I coloured the Woodgrain frame with round Espresso Ink, using the ink pad itself to give it a great depth of color. 

I used a Birthday Balloon Clear Stamp inked with Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink  and used a length of White Twine to finish.

I decorated the inside to coordinate with the front and used a Big Birthday Wishes Stamp Set.
