Simon Says: Celebrate!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Add Some Texture Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

Celebrate!

We are celebrating our 6th Anniversary here on the Monday Challenge so we thought we should celebrate in style and use our very own Simon Says Stamp Products this week!

Obviously an anniversary is an extra special occasion so this week  Simon Says Stamp will be giving away not one but TWO $50 gift vouchers to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store. So we will have 2 winners this week!

We are welcoming the lovely Christine Bedford into the Designer Spotlight this week, please pop by her blog to leave her a comment. I am sure she would love to hear from you ;-)

I used a Stylish Simon Clear Stamp set and Coordinating Die  as the main focus of my card. Isn't he adorable ❤️

I started by daubing White Gesso over some Corrugated Card, from a Textured Surfaces Pack and then splattered with Tumbled Glass and Fresh Lime Inks and set aside to dry. I then moved on to making the shaker using a Birthday Frame Die and a Fuse Tool. I coloured the Woodgrain frame with round Espresso Ink, using the ink pad itself to give it a great depth of color.

I used a Birthday Balloon Clear Stamp inked with Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink  and used a length of White Twine to finish.

I decorated the inside to coordinate with the front and used a Big Birthday Wishes Stamp Set.

So now it's YOUR turn, Happy Crafting!

Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #sssmchallenge so we can see your entries there too

I see someone's loving the corrugated cardboard! Not a surprise cause you use it so great! I love to see it in your projects altered with white paints and making your cards so dimensional. This one I love for keeping all the earth colors with a crazy splash of fruity green baloon! What a perfect touch... Hugs, Marzena

This card turned out SO CUTE! Simon looks like he is jumping right off the card and I love your placement of him with the balloon. I also thought the framing was genius and I always love to see the inside of the card looking as good as the outside. Kudos on another WOW project!
