Hi all :-) the weekend is almost here and there will be lots of partying going on here ! It is Carnival weekend woo hoo !!

this week on the Totally Papercrafts Challenge it is Linda’s turn to choose the theme ,,,

For my card I used a new stamp from Art Impressions, they had a fabulous booth at the CHA and on the last day they let me buy a few stamps AND they very kindly gave me this one as a gift ! Aren’t they FAB ! ,, I love these oldies :-)

I coloured with Copics and inked the edges with Colorbox blue chalk ink ( LOVE these )I cut out a scalloped circle and circle on my new Grand Calibur machine , and created a background using copic markers and an air brush ( love this too :-)) I used a Martha Stewart Arch Lattice border punch, a Hero Arts sentiment, a few gems and some bias tape from The Ribbon Girl to finish

Simon Says …… TAG IT !! :-)

WOW!!! What a fabby turn out for last weeks Love Is In The Air challenge!!!! Lots of lurve'ly creations for us to pop by and admire :-)

This week we have another great challenge for you...

TAG IT

so make a tag, or add a tag to a card/creation

As you all know Tim Holtz is famous for his tags, so all the DT have used Tim Holtz products on their creations this week in his honour :-)
You don't have to use them, but if you have them we would love to see them used on YOUR creations :-)

I really enjoyed making this tag, it might not be much to look at but it was fun making it ,, I got more ink on me than on the tag and my hands were a horrid shade of green for hours ( I need to buy a scrubbie) bit it was worth it :-)

I started with a tag ,,,and coloured with various distress stains. when it was completely dry I used a Dyan Reavey mask and sponged with Stormy Sky Distress ink, then brushed over with Blue Smoke Perfect Pearls. I used a strip of Tissue Tape down the left side edge and then stamped the butterflies from an Attic Treasures set. I then stamped them again onto watercolour paper and coloured them with the brand new Distress markers. These were a gift from Ranger when I attended a Tim Holtz class at the CHA , I have 6 of them ,, now need to buy the rest of them ,,, 31 to go ,,,, !!! I used an Elegant Flourishes die to cut out some grungepaper and I coloured this with Vintage Photo DI then embossed with Vintage Photo Distress Embossing Powder. I stamped the Paris, London stamp in the top R corner and added a Fleur de Lys charm, The ticket was made using a Ticket Strip Die and an Odds and Ends stamp, I used some bias tape, coloured with stains and then I finished with oodles of Rock Candy stickles on the butterflies.

Hi all ,,, Sooo ,, have you all received a lovely Valentine’s card and beautiful bunch of long stemmed red roses ??? ,, no ,,,, me neither ,,, lol :-) Never mind eh ,, am sure someone loves us :-)

I made this card for my hubby, he doesn’t like fussy and fancy so I have kept this quite simple. My apologies for the photo, it looks quite dull but is lovely and sparkly IRL ,,,, honest ! :-)

I used hero Arts stamps from a Love Everyday Clear set I stamped 3 hearts onto red card and cut them out, I then painted glue around the edges and sprinkled with black glitter. I cut a strip of plain white card, stamped black hearts randomly and stamped the sentiment too, I then sprayed with Diamond Glimmer, very shimmery IRL. The paper is from a Basic Grey Little Black Dress pack and I used a Tim Holtz Flourish die cut, I smothered this with black glitter too, the lovely rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts. I added a few red pearls to finish ,,,

I just HAD to use my Happy Hopper Wishin’ Well image,, sooo cute :-)

I coloured with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky DI. The papers are from Jillibean Soup, these are from a Homemade Bean pack, I added a sun, made with a MFT Die=Namics Sun die cut, some pearls and loads of Star Dust Stickles. The sentiment is from a Papermania clear set, I used a Spellbinder’s ribbon slider die to cut it out and I added a Memory Box Star of Wonder die cut too.

ABC ‘C’ for Charming

Hi all :-) sorry I’m late today ,,, but I slept in and then had loads of stuff to do ,,,,, this jet lag is exhausting !! :-/

We are now onto the letter ‘C’ on the ABC Christmas Challenge and it is Miria’s turn to choose the theme

‘C’ for Charming ( + Christmas)

If you make a point of joining ours, and the other fab Christmas challenges out there, then you will have a lovely stack ready and no last minute panic’s ,,, well ,, that’s the theory ,, just don't quote me lol :-)

For my card I used my newest ( to me) House Mouse stamp. I saw this used on a blog ( sorry I forgot who’s) but I just loved the paper clip ice skates ,, soo funny :-) this one is called Joyous Noel, coloured with Copics and the edges inked with Broken China DI, I used lots of Hero Arts crystal glitter and Star dust stickles on this.

The papers are Bo Bunny Snowfall ( LOVE these) I used plain white card, inked with Pumice Stone DI and then brushed over with Pearl Perfect Pearls ,, looks like shimmery silver, and SU red cardstock for layering. I used Martha Stewart snowflake punches , a charm ( to fit the theme !! ) and a satin ribbon to finish :-)

Good morning all :-) I hope you’re all fit and well and looking forward to joining in with our new theme over on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge :-)

As you know I recently went to the CHA in California and met up Heidi, Steph and many more people behind the scenes at Simon Says Stamp. If you would like to see a post I made with some photo’s click HERE

While I was there I also met up with the lovely and OH sooo talented Jacqui aka Cats Whiskers and she agreed to join the DT !! WOO HOOO !! Welcome aboard Jacqui :-) We are so honoured to have you join us xxxx ,,, YAY !! :-)

The Design Team, along with our Designer in the Spotlight for February, Linda, have made some amazing creations for your inspiration this week.

We are showcasing Prima Products this week, you don't have to use them but if you have some we would love to see them :-)

For my card I decided to make an easel one and used this lovely image from a Penny Black Clear set called J’aime Paris. what a handsome couple they make eh ,,, if a little thin !! :-) I coloured with me trusty copics, inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink and dotted Star Dust stickles to the flowers. I cut out the image using Spellbinders nesties and inked the scalloped edge with Victorian Velvet DI and then brushed Pink Perfect Pearls over the top, really shimmery IRL. I used the same technique for all the backing papers and what looks like a strip of ribbon with the punched hearts on !

The papers are Prima from a Sparkling Spring set and the gorgeous rose is also from Prima, it was white and already glittered but I sprayed it with a copic using my copic air brush so that it would match perfectly :-) Isn't it GORGEOUS !! ( I can't find the link to this particular flower set but this is similar

I framed the whole card using a Martha Stewart Double Loop PATP kit and I also used a MS Heart border punch too. It does look like this is stuck on wonky ,, but it is straight irl ,,, HONEST !! :-)

I finished with a few Hero Arts pearls, a Heart Swirl die cut, some bias tape and a brad from American Crafts.

Hi all ,,I hope you’re all fit and well and didn’t miss me too much while I was away ,,, lol :-)

I made this card before leaving for the CHA,, good job I did cos I haven’t been able to get into my craft room yet ,,, emails, catching up with friends, phone calls, and still not got my body clock back into European time !! I have been awake for most of the night and need to go for a nap now :-/

For my card I used this very cute Never Too Old For A Hug image, stamped in Black Memento ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out with a circle nestie. I coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils, inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress Ink and added lots of sparkly Hero Arts Crystal glitter and Star Dust Stickles. The papers are Kaiser Crafts from a Pink Gelato pack and I used a Heart Swirl die, a few flowers from my drawer, I think they are Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts, and I used some White/Silver Organza Sparkle and satin ribbons from The Ribbon Girl aznd a charm from my drawer. The ticket is from Whimsy Stamps and the pearls are coloured with a copic to match

I returned home late on Saturday evening and have some fab photo's to share with you ! I have a new camera so this year I do have some fairly decent ones ,,, unlike last year when they were ALL blurred :-/
I was invited to attend the CHA by the lovely Heidi at Simon Says Stamp and I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU :-)
I had a truly wonderful time and it was just brilliant to meet many of the 'behind the scenes ' staff :-)

On Saturday Heidi and I had a class with Tim Holtz, Claudine Hellmuth, Dyan Reaveley and Jess Lincoln unfortunately I was too busy to get many photo's ,, I was concentrating on my projects ! ,,, but here are a few ,,

Totally Papercrafts ,,, Sketch Challenge

My last scheduled post :-) I am now in London and will be getting ready for a day of shopping no doubt ! :-)

This week on the TPC it is Cathy’s turn to choose the theme and she chose a fab sketch designed by our resident sketch guru Scoopy :-)

For my card I used this gorgeous House Mouse stamp called Lovely Confetti.

I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. The papers are Bo Bunny and I layered these onto silver stardream card. I used Heart Swirl and Hearts A Plenty dies and finished with some pearls and satin ribbon :-)
