For my card I used this lovely Andre Carrying Watermelon from Sarah Kay I love watermelon !! :-) I coloured the image with copics and inked around the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink and added star dust stickles around the edge. The papers are Stampin Up Rainbow Sherbert and the green card is Old Olive, the button and acslloped border are also SU products :-) I added a few Robins Nest Dew drops too :-)

Simon Says ,,,,,,, Martine's Sketch :-)

Thanks for all your fabulous entries to our Tutti Frutti Challenge ,, some yummy creations there !! :-)

This week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge our lovely teamie Martine has made us a fabulous sketch to follow :-)

As usual Heidi is offering one lucky entrant a trolley dash around her Simon Says Stamp store to the value of $25 !! and she will pay the shipping costs too :-)

For my card I used my lovely new Tilda ,,, isn't she beautiful ! :-) this one is called 'Wish Granted Tilda' :-) I coloured her with copics and glittered her skirt and shoes ,, well ,, Princesses have to have a sparkly dress ,, tis compulsory :-) The papers are Magnolia too from the Fairytale collection ,, pretty :-) I also used some white glitter card and white/blue coredinations ,, a stip of this was embossed using a star folder. I made the flower using a Tim Holtz Tattered floral Die, you can see a tutorial made by Christina here One little tip I would add is that if you use watercolour card the petals are not torn so easily ,, especially if you use the narrow petaled die :-)

The oval shapes were cut using a Spellbinders nestie and the lovely heart border is made using a Martha Stewart punch. I finished off with a few Kaiser Craft gems and a Princess charm ,, the ribbon was in my drawer :-)

For my card I used my lovely Pure Innocence stamp this one is called Sunshiney Day. I coloured the image with copics and 3D'd her, the background was coloured with Pebbles inc pearlescent chalks The papers are Basic Grey green at heart papers and I used a Martha Stewart punch around the page border. The flowers are prima, sprayed with glimmer mist and stickled and the sentiment came with the stamp :-)

Sketch & Stash Challenge #40 ,,,, Jills Sketch

Good Morning all :-) Time for a new sketch created by our lovely DT Jill over on the Sketch and Stash Challenge :-) I am sure you will all like this one ,,, nice n easy :-)

For my card I used my lovely new Kraftin Kimmie stamp which is available in the Quixotic Paperie Store. I coloured the image with copics and decopaged 2 of the little dolls ,, soo cute :-) The papers are a digi kit from the Creative Cottage ,, and I must admit I have been neglecting these !! This kit is called Bella Ballerina :-) They do print off so nicely ,, lovely quality :-)
I used a spellbinders nestie die to cut the shape and inked the edges with Brushed Corduroy distress ink. the purple card is SU Divine Aubergine ,, lovely :-) I also used a Martha Stewart punch for the fancy edges and added a gingham ribbon and a few robins Nest dew drops to finish :-)

Simon Says Stamp Challenge on Papercrafts Planet :-) ,,, Summer Time AND a card for Bella :-)

Chris ( Simon Says Stamp DT girlie)is working very hard over on the Papercraft Planet site to drum up entries ,, so I thought I would give her a hand and hopefully some of my lovely followers will join in too :-)

the theme is a nice easy one and there are several with the same theme so you can combine !! :-)

I made this card for Bella, I am sure most, if not all of you will have heard about Bella's nasty virus that has left here severely physically disabled. Erin and Denise have been working really hard to organise a series of blog hops to send cards, and hopefully a few donations to her. I love the way blogland pulls together to support each other and our friends in time of need ,,, you really are a fantastic bunch of people :-) Now ,, before I get too soppy i'll tell you about this card :-) If you would like to join in with the 4th and final week of the hop click here

The images I used are all from Simon Says Stamp Exclusives sets. I wanted to send Bella a nice cheerful sunny card and although this may be bright I wanted to put a smile on Bella's face :-) Don't you just LOVE this penguin :-)

I coloured the image with copics ,, masked and decoupaged Mrs Penguin and added star dust stickles everywhere. The papers are from the Basic Grey June Bug paper pad and the flowers are prima. The button and ribbon were in my drawer and the shell was a RAK from Ria :-)

I used my lovely Splish Splash a Citrus Bath
stamp ,, so cute :-) I coloured the image with copics and inked the edges with shabby shutters distress ink and yellow chalk ink. I then added my fave Star Dust stickles. the papers are Basic Grey from the Lime Rickey paper pad. I made the flower using Tim Holtz tattered floral die cuts and distress ink, pearl glimmer mist and stickles ,, oh and a pearl :-) The sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub on and I added a few Robins Nest dew drops to finish :-)

I am also entering this into the Basic Grey Challenge whose theme is gingham :-)

Papertake Weekly Challenge ,,,, In the Garden :-)

We had loads of fabulous entries to Dawny's sketch but now it is time for a new challenge over on the Papertake Weekly Challenge :-) This week the theme is :

I am sure many of you have been mowing the lawns and weeding the flower beds in the last couple of weeks so your heads must be full of inspiration :-)

I made my card following Dawny's fab sketch on the Lili of the Valley Challenge :-)



I used this gorgeous Little Girls Tea Time stamp from LOTV,, cute eh ! :-) I coloured the image with copics and added Glossy accents to the teapot, cups and saucers. I used some teracotta coredinations that I embossed with a Tim Holtz burlap folder,, I thought it looked like tiles ! The flowery paper is from the Basic Grey Green at heart paper pack. I made the sky using a Hero Arts cloud stamp, stamped several times, masked then sprayed with copic ink using a copic air brush. The flower is from Hobbycraft and it does actually match the card perfectly IRL ,, seems the wrong colour on the piccy. The flowery border is a sticker that came with the paper pack ( I bought the 12x12 collection pack) I used a Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, a charm and a few gems !! The sentiment is also from a LOTV sentiment set.

Wild Rose Studio DT card :-)

I made this card following Helen's fab sketch on the Just Cute Bears Challenge :-)



I used my lovely Milton with Flowers image from the Wild Rose Studio :-) I coloured him with Prisma pencils and blended with spirit, I love the furry effect you can get with the pencils :-) I coloured the flowers with copics and paper pieced the paper on the bouquet using a bit of a paper bag :-) I added star dust stickles everywhere :-)
The papers are designed by Dulcie too at the Wild Rose Studio,,, these are from the Floral paper stack. The sentiment is from the WRS too I used my new EK Success border punch and a Nellie Snellen die cut for the sentiment :-) I added a couple of heart shaped buttons, some tulle ribbon a flower and some gems to finish.

Totally Papercrafts Pearls and Swirls Challenge

Oohh wow ,, we had loads of entries last week ,,, everyone likes 'Girlie' Cards :-)

For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Create4Fun Challenge The image is called 'All Dressed Up' ,, isn't she cute !! :-) I coloured her with copics and paper pieced her shawl, shoes, head band and flower ,, just adding some extra colour for shading. I popped the shawl and flower up a little too with silicone glue for a bit of dimension. I wanted to use black pearls ,, but didn t have any black liquid pearls ,,, so ,,, I squeezed some pearl liquid pearls out ,, then mixed in some copic black alcohol ink ,, and it worked OK !! :-) ,, my pearls are the mishaped freshwater type !!! lol :-) The paper is from Craft Creations and I used pearlescent stardream card and plain black card too. The fancy edge was punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The pearls are from Kaiser Craft and the rose is Prima, sprayed with black copic ink using my copic air brush ,, fab gadget that is !! :-) The pin is a lovely Maya road one that I won on Martine's Simon Says Stamp sponsored candy :-)
