ABC 'L' for Layering,,,,,, My 1st DT card !! :-)

You know how sometimes ,,, one thing leads to another,,, well a couple of weeks ago Samantha asked me if I would like to join them in a Blog Hop to launch the new ABC Christmas Challenge blog :-) That was fun !! ,, I LOVE blog hops you get to visit lots of blogs that maybe you would miss :-) I was also asked to join in as a GD for the first challenge ,, A for Angels ,,, which I hope you will all enter !!!!! :-)

Well ,,,, then Samantha asked me to join the DT for both the ABC Challenge and the ABC Christmas Challenge blogs :-) How fantastic is that !!! AND Cathy has agreed to rejoin the DT too !! Brilliant ,, I know Cathy from the Sketch and Stash DT too so it will be nice to work with her on all 3 DT's !! :-) YAY ,,,, :-) So a big wave to all the girls on the DT ,, Fiona,Helen,Jan,Jane Jennifer, Samantha, Vicky and Cathy :-)

We are being sponsored this week by the lovely Lacey at Stamp and Create :-) She is offering a wonderful prize so as the saying goes ,, you have to be in it to win it so ,,, get LAYERING !! :-)

So onto my first card as a DT on the ABC Challenge :-) This week the theme is

L for LAYERING.

For my card I used a lovely Big Sister stamp from Sugar Nellie :-) I loved this image as soon as I saw it on and just HAD to get it ! I think the sentiment is just PERFECT with it too lol :-) I can just imagine a toddler 'big' sister saying that !! :-) It also reminds me of the episode of Only Foold and Horses when Del Boy has a baby ,,, have you all seen that one ,,, sooo funny :-)

The papers are from my lovely Wild Rose Studio Spring Papers CD ,,, I love the papers on this ,,, they print so nicely :-) I added some dew drops and stickles for sparkle. The lovely baby ribbon was from my local habberdashery :-)

Thanks for looking :-) I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)
The DT have made some wonderful cards for your inspiration ,, so please pop by the ABC Challenge blog to see them and don't forget to leave a comment too :-)

Sitting on a Snowflake ;-)

I made this card following Jo's fab sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge :-)

The image is a RAK from a lovely blog buddy ,,, not mentioning names but she knows who she is so thanks hun x x
I coloured her with copics and sat her on a pice of felt snowflake ribbon from papermania ,,, which was smothered in stickles :-) The frame was made using a Nellie multiframe. the papers are from a Basic Grey two scoops paper pad.

The ribbon was from my stash and the sentiment is a greeting farm one :-)
