Simon Says Stamp July 'You Shine' Card Kit

The fabulous new Simon Says Stamp July 'You Shine' Card Kit is in the loft!! :-) 

Woot Woot!!! 

I have made 2 cards to share today

For this first one I used the gorgeous Flower Garden Emboss and Cut Folder, that is in the kit, for the main focus. 

I cut it out of Black Card Stock and used a little of the Gilded Foundry Wax and my finger to add a little to the highlighted areas.  I thought it would make a lovely little shaker element so I popped some of the Vintage Lemon TwistPaper in there along with a few sequins.  I used more of the paper for the background and added a torn wedge of vellum to soften it up a bit. 

I heat embossed the sentiment from the You Shine Stamp Set and fussy cut.  

and I used the leftover strip of paper to decorate the envelope, that was also in the kit 

For this 2nd card  I  decided to add a little Starshine Glitter Gel, thant was in the June Kit, to the patterned paper using a Dot Fade Stencil. I used one of the gorgeous Window Frames Baseboard, which is also in the kit, to add a little element for the bee to sit on ;-) 

I have to say, I just love this kit!! It's  Bee-utiful!! haha see what I did there ;-)
