I look forward to the lazy days of summer when I can relax by the pool or on the beach and immerse myself in a good book ;-) I thought it was about time that I made myself a stylish bookmark rather than using scraps of paper ;-)

I splattered the background with Distress Resist and when they was dry I blended Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade Oxide Inks over the top. I used Tim Holtz ClockworK Stencil with Black Soot Distress Ink and the letters in a Mini Stencil Set 5 Stencil with Blueprint Sketch Ink for the background. I stamped some script text with Faded Jeans Archival Ink and I used a Simon Says Stamp Engraved Feather and a couple of Big Chat Stickers to finish.
