Tim Holtz Wacky Transport

Happy Weekend!!
Do you have any plans? I know several of you in the UK are going to be enjoying your fist pub lunch for months!! Wish I was there!! I do miss a nice pub lunch!!

When I saw the Inkspirational Challenge pic I just had to join in with a Tim Holtz Wacky taxi

I die cut the taxi's from watercolor paper and dipped it in Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber, drying between each dipping. I then painted over them using a Zig Yellow/Green Real Brush to make the color more vibrant.
For the background I blended Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar and Tumbled Glass to create a hazy New York sunrise ;-) For the houses I used a Simon Says Stamp Neighborhood Die and popped some fabulous Holographic Card Stock behind the windows, don't they look awesome reflecting the surrounding colors!!!  I finished with a handy Tim Holtz Label Sticker.

Thanks so much for looking!! I really appreciate you popping by!  Please leave me a comment so I know you've been ;-)

This is such a perfect interpretation of the challenge pic! Smooshing/watercolouring the taxis gives them so much more character than using yellow cardstock would. Thanks for joining us at Inkspirational!

Thanks for playing along with our "wheels" challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz. Those yellow cars are perfect for the city-scape.

I love how you colored the taxis, the distress oxides give such a nice look, especially when adding the Zig color too. Great design for a slimline card too! Thanks for joining our challenge at Cardz 4 Guys!

What a fun cityscape card! I do love the sunset reflected in the buildings' windows and those are some awesome taxis. They're so brightly colored! I can almost hear their horns blaring!

Thanks for sharing your card with us at Cut it Up for our Masculine Card challenge!
