Please pop by to see what our fabulous guest Lucyna and the DT have made! Brilliantly clever stuff! :-)
I made a card using a Simon Says Stamp Good Reading Background cling stamp and a Lotus Flowers Clear Stamp and Coordinating Die Set
I inked up the background stamp with Fog Ink and samped directly onto the card base. I then used a piece of Watercolor Paper the same size as the card and tore a strip off the edge and inked with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink. I then placed a Dylusions Holes Stencil over the top and used Smoke Ink to add some text in the holes.
I coloured the Lotus Flowers with Copic Markers and layered up the flowers to give a 3D effect and stitched along the edge to add more interest.
and I finished the inside and almost ruined it! I dropped the inked stamp after I had stamped the sentiment and left some smudgy marks. I think that because there are other bits of random inked text its not that noticable, what do you think? Is it usable?
Thanks for looking!
So now it's YOUR turn to get creating!
You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in

That stamp is a favorite of mine--I love what you did with it!
The design here is superb. I really like the contrast of the grunge background and pretty flower which is perfectly coloured. The torn edge fits in so well with the grunge background and fab way to add text to the card. Oh and no you don’t notice the smudge! So good to see you at Ink
Stunning piece, Lols! Love the amazing card and the way you created the bunch of flowers!
Lucyna xx
Oh, don't you just hate it when that happens? I think it is perfectly usable, it is beautiful, I love the colours, the flowers are so lovely and the stitching, as always, looks wonderful! Hugs, Anne xx
Ooh, a fun theme! And I love your card! Looks perfectly fine to me... and if you're worried, just add a few more smudges, then it will totally look like they were meant to be there! :D
Doesn't look like a goof to me! Beautiful & artistic!
I love how you create your cards! They are perfect in every respect! This card is a spring advance, the colors are truly spectacular!Barbara
Beautiful! I love the pastel colors and your stitching. ~jeni :)

This is such a beautiful and refreshing-feeling card! I feel the hope of Spring in this, especially when it's FREEZING outside right now! I love the color palette and the sewing detail. Really pretty background, too!

Ok this is a big surprise for me cause I have just discovered due to your coloring, that there are leaves!!! below the close buds and I discovered as well that I have been coloring them wrong all the time! Thank you, lol. LOve the coloring and the sofr mood you created. But I am still ashamed. Don't tell anybody I am such an old, blind lady :P Hugs xxx

Beautiful card, lols! I love how you made the type so subtle for the background. Looks wonderful! hugs, Maura
Wonderful Lols, love the hints of typography throughout your wonderful card and I didn't even notice the 'smudges', think they fit in perfectly with your lost and found text! Thanks so much for sharing it, Deb xo
