ABC Christmas 'P' 'Q' 'R' Challenge

Hi all and welcome back to a new theme on the ABC Christmas Challenge! If you have been joining us from the beginning of the year you should have a healthy box of cards ready to use! If not then maybe you should think about joining in, there are only 174 days left to go!

The lovely Sharon is our hostess for this month and the themes are

'P for Plain'
'Q for Quotes'
'R for Robins or Rabbits'

You can choose any or all of the themes, just don't forget the Christmas bit ;-)

For my first 'P' for Plain card I used an older Hero Arts stencil that is now discontinued but it is very similar to THIS ONE from Memory Box

I blended Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil and simply added dots of Ruby Red Liquid Pearls on the berries. I stamped a sentiment and added a strip of Washi Tape to add a little bit more interest.

For my 'R' for Robins card I used a gorgeous Lawn Fawn 'Simply Celebrate' Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies I love that this set has designs that can be used for everyday celebrations and Christmas too!

I used a Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangles Die Set for the frame. I masked the outer edges and then splattered with Distress Resist Spray, when this was dry I blended Broken China Distress Oxide Ink over the top and then spritzed and splattered with water.

I coloured the little robins with copic markers and popped them on a line, as you can see they are merry singing Christmas Carols ;-)

The sentiment is from a Lawn Fawn Winter Sparrows Stamp Set

and I finished the inside.

Thanks for looking!

They're both gorgeous, Lorraine. I have to say the stencilled CAS one (seems a shame to call it plain when it's so pretty) is especially classy.
