I have had this Large Etcetera Tag on my shelf for months and finally got around to decorating it! I found it a bit daunting to be honest,as it is so big, but I finally plucked up some courage and got stuck in. Not so scary once I got started and actually really enjoyed making this. I have even ordered a couple more of the same size!! I think one decorated for Christmas would be really cool on the front door rather than a wreath!
I made this tag to hang onto my gate to welcome guests to our cocktail/barbeques parties, a perfect way to have fun during the hot summer months!
I started by tearing papers and adhering them to the tag using Gel Medium, I did like the look of the papers but then decided to give them a coat of Gesso and when that was dry I blended Faded Jeans and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks, my 'Go To' colours ;-) I then spritzed with water and splattered with inks.
I randomly stamped the text using a Tim Holtz Block Lower Alphabet Foam Stamp Set and I used a Cocktails Blueprints Stamp Set and an Altenew Brushed Alpha Die Set to decorate the tag.
I love how this has turned out!
Thanks for looking!

What a creative tag! I love how you spritzed it. Looks like the tag was brought to the party and got spilled on!
I can see how such a huge tag would be a daunting project to take on, but you rocked it! Thanks for sharing it with us at Cut it Up for our Tag! You’re It! challenge!
