House Mouse Anything Goes/Back To School

It's time for a new House Mouse and Friends Challenge. This time I am the hostess and the theme is

Anything Goes
with the option of Back To School!

I used this super cute Pencil Sharpener Cling Stamp and made a notebook ;-)

I cut down some cardboard backing from an A3 scrap paper pad and covered this with Wild Rose Studio, Papercraft House, Natural Textures Paper Pack

I also used a Simon's Notebook Edge Die to add some interest and used a text background stamp on the kraft and patterned paper panels. I then masked the mouse and stencilled a woodgrain design behind the image.

I didn't take a photo of the inside but I simply glued in an A5 shop bought notebook.

I also made a bookmark using a Friend Wishes Clear Stamp Set
Being a Yorkshire lass (and that being my name on Splitcoast Stampers) I couldn't resist using this book for the photo prop ;-)

I used a Simon's Exclusive Stitched Banner Die and splattered with Distress Resist before blending Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide inks

Thanks for looking! You have until MN EST on 7th July to join in!

I love altering old day planners that I bought and never used. I don't journal but I use them for notes on my design team challenges. I also alter the purse day planner with house mouse stamps. I love the design of the note book and the bookmark is beautiful. love it.

Anything featuring those house mice is adorable, but I really love what you've done with this notebook! The cover is just perfect with that notebook edge die, and I love the addition of the paper clip and twine element.

The coordinating bookmark is adorable, too. I love the coloring, the washi, and the sentiment!

Thanks for joining us at Cut it Up for our Anything But a Card challenge!
