This week the challenge is
Happy Birthday!
We are celebrating our 9th birthday this week so its time for a special celebration!! 🎉The last 9 years have flown by so quickly and I know that many of you have been joining in with the challenges side the very beginning! This challenge would not be here without YOU and your support.

I made a couple of cards to share today, first up is this one made for a girl using a super cute 'Sweet Elephants' Die Set
I die cut the elephants out of Fog Card Stock and inked the ends with a little Black Soot Distress Ink to add shading. I cut the elephants twice and popped the 2nd ear at a bit of an angle to make them look 'real' ;-)
I added a few balloons from a Celebration Die Set and used a new Blooming Wave Die for the flowers. I finished with a Painted Happy :-)
Next up is one for a boy (have to be fair eh ;-))
I used an adorable Picture Book Giraffe Die and made a shaker using a Birthday Frame Die Set
I used Simon's Chocolate Brown Cardstock for layering and also for the giraffe . I smooshed some Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade onto a craft mat and dipped watercolor paper in, creating a dappled effect for the giraffe's coat.
For the background I inked up an animal print stamp with Spiced Marmalade and followed with Gathered Twigs for the 2nd stamping.
Inside the shaker I stencilled a branch and added some berries using Ruby Red Liquid Pearls.
and I finished the inside.

How fun to do a girl's and a boy's card, Lols! I'm a little partial to the first one, but I love giraffes - fantastic combination of supplies for that one!
