Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is 

Add Some Texture 

We are showcasing Tim Holtz  Products this week.

You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used, and lets face it, not many of us won't have something of Tim's in our crafty stash ;-)

Our super talented guest Yoonsun and the DT have made some fabulous creations this week (as usual ;-)) please pop by to see what everyone has made! 

I love the  Hipster Cling Stamp Set, one of my all time faves and I used the Cat from the set and the  Hipster Cat Die Set as the focus of my card. I am so happy that I bought the dies to go with the stamps, they make the animals look so 3D and awesome! Thanks Tim! 

I coloured the cat with distress inks, using Amy's cat Tigger as my model. I die cut the glasses a couple of times and heat embossed with Atlantic Seaspray Powder , I adhered onto some acetate and fussy cut around them, then coloured with a brown copic marker on the reverse side, don't you love his funky shades!!

For the background I used some Desert Storm Card Stock and used a Mini Score Board to add some grooves to give more texture. I then painted it with a diluted layer of White Gesso and then spritzed and splattered with Dina Wakeley's Mica Sprays, can't tell you how gorgeous these are IRL! YUM!   I then used a Layering Bricked Stencil and Texture Paste coloured with Fired brick Oxide Ink to create the wall. 

I finished with a few splatters of Black Marble Ink and added a couple of strips of  Washi Tape and  Typography Findings. coloured with Alcohol Inks.

Edited to add, I also popped a little flower in his lapel ;-) 

and I finished the inside
