WOOT WOOT!! it's officially DieCember!! One of my most fave times of year!! :-D
The lovely Heidi and team Simon sent me some samples of the gorgeous new dies which are officially available from today! YAY!! :-)
In my parcel was this gorgeous Big Joy Snowflake Die and I thought it would be perfect to make CAS quick and easy cards and as I used the negative for the card I didn't want to waste the snowflake so I made a matching gift box too ;-)
As you can see I cut the snowflake and then I popped some acetate behind just to add some stability and also to give it some shine. I stitched the edges with gold thread, heat embossed the sentiment and added a gold dot to the middle.
I used a Lawn Fawn Pillow Box Die and decorated to match.

Lorraine I thought I recognised the paper and the little Cat critter from the Christmas Squad Stamp Set from the Simon Says Stamps December Kit from watching a You Tube video tutorial by Kristina. But it was great to see you adapt the new release dies into your design too the loopy loop die looks fabulous on the edge of the roof. But another aspect of your designs I particularly like is that you finish off all your cards by putting greetings and co-ordinating colours inside your cards too. (I LOVE THIS!) I absolutely love large sentiments, they are my nemesis at the moment, I keep seeing them on different crafting sites and I can't decide which ones to purchase. I have a few at present but I am partial to Simon Says Stamps new one 'Oh Hello There'. But I can't seem to find where I would purchase the inside greeting that said 'Just wanted to say you're amazing'. Lorraine if you could let me know about this I would be extremely grateful. :O)
