Simon Says: Touchy Feely on the Monday Challenge

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

This week we are challenging you to add some texture

Touchy Feely

there are many ways that you can add texture to your projects, embossing folders and pastes, 3D flowers, buttons, gems, corrugated card, the supplies that you can use are endless. Whatever you decide to use we will be looking forward to seeing what you create
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

Please don't forget to pop by our super talented guest, Anne and the DT's blogs. Everyone has made fabulous touchy feely projects for your inspiration! :-)

I used the corrugated card and burlap from a Tim Holtz Textured Surfaces Pack as the base for her touchy feely card.

I gave a slightly diluted wash of white gesso over the corrugated caed and then added some splashes of colour with the distress paints

I then added more texture with a  popped up flower from a Flower Garden Set and a scrunchy Crinkle Ribbon.

I used the distress paints to colour the flower and then used matching distress stains for the ribbon.

I didn't want to waste any of the burlap so I trimmed the edges and used the negative tag as a frame and used it on the inside.

Thanks for looking!

So now it's YOUR turn to get creating!

Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #sssmchallenge so we can see your entries there too

You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in

Challenges:

Hope you all have a great week :-)
Happy Crafting

Well, well... Someone is going so great into mixed media and textures, right? I love this one a lot. The combination of coarugated cardboard and a burlap was a perfect choice. The colors on the panel are amazing! You are spreading your mixed media wings! Hugs, Macarena

I love (but don't create many) mixed media projects myself. I am totally loving this card and now want to run to my craft room and create something "touchy feely" now. Thank you so much for this inspiration!!

It looks so wonderfully tactile with the fabulous corrugated card in the background and the beautiful burlap - it makes me want to reach out and touch it Lols. The delicately coloured crinkly bow and the flower are just the icing on the cake. I love how you used the 'leftover' for the inside, such a lovely touch! Hugs, Anne xx
