A Simon Says Stamp Summer Hello!

Hi all :-) I hope you're all enjoying a fabulous sunshiny weekend! 

I am here to share another card made using the  Simon Says stamp July 'Summer Hello' Card Kit! I love that this kit is so perfect to make little summer 'just because' cards. 

If you saw my post from yesterday you will know that I was playing with making backgrounds using Distress oxide Inks. For this card I used a combination of Spiced Marmalade, Worn Lipstick  and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Inks to create this lovely background. 

I smooshed a colour of ink onto a craft sheet, spritzed with water and then dabbed the watercolour paper into the ink. I dried the paper with a heat tool between each layer of ink, this stops the inks from mixing together too much and becoming muddy. 

In the card kit is this fabulous Bikini Die, oh wouldn't it be lovely to be able to wear a bikini like that ;-) haha 

I finished the inside too, a perfect card just to send a friendly 'hello' don't ya think!? 

I know that I say this every month, bit it is true, these kits sell out in a few days. If you would like one, don't hang about, get in there quick ;-)
