This week the theme is
We're Going Around In Circles
The theme this week is pretty much self explanatory. simply add a circle shape to your creation! You can use dies, stamps, stencils, or even recycle circular objects like tubes, jars, bottles etc, there are so many possibilities! We will be looking forward to seeing what you create!
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
It's Sonia's last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your absolutely stunning and fabulous creations over the past month!! It has been a great pleasure to have you along with us!
I am going around in circles with Seth Apter Robo Rings and a Tim Holtz Rings Background Stamp. She used a fabulous selection of Distress Oxide Inks for the background before white heat embossing the circle design.
I swiped these 3 colours over a craft mat, spritzed with water and then smooched the watercolour paper in the inks, I dried the inks with a heat tool and then repeated dabbing the paper in the inks to pick up more colour and adding a more marble effect design.
I then thoroughly dried the paper before white heat embossing the circle design.
I coloured the Robo Rings with the Fossilised Amber ink and layered then as a base for the Tim Holtz Butterfly to rest on ;-)
Arty shot ;-)
