Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit 'Light Up' Card

Oh my goodness I have  had such a lovely time playing with the December Card Kit! I am late to the party but thats because I was having such a great time helping out at Simon Says Stamp actually packing these kits ready to ship them out to those lucky enough to grab one before they sold out! My kit was waiting for me at home!!

In this kit there is a fabulous Chibitronics Circuit Stickers Set which actually light up your card!! YAY!! Oh my goodness I am so going to get a few more of these!!

and here is Rudolph with a very shiny nose and the star also lights up. I have to be honest here and say that this card will not be going in the post, it is staying here with me ;-) I just LOVE it!! ❤️

To make it light up all you have to do is press 'BRIGHT' and it lights up like magic!!

To make the card you need to make 2 of the same design, its better to use a MISTI tool or a stamp positioner so that you know exactly where you need the lights to be. I thought you might like to see whats hidden under the image ;-)

the battery is hidden inside the piece of card. It enables the copper foil to lift off the battery so that the lights will only work when it is pressed down to make the connection.

I made a 2nd card, almost the same but no lights.

These kits sold like hot cakes and are now unavailable but you can buy all of the elements I used individually.

Thanks for looking!

I can hardly believe that Christmas is almost here!! Being away from home for 3 weeks has put me back a bit and I haven't even posted a single card yet! I had better get a wiggle on ;-)
