October Card Kit 'Nutty Over You'

When we returned from our trip to India I found a fabulous Simon says Stamp October Card Kit waiting for me, such a lovely parcel to come home to ;-)

I love the 'Nutty Over You' stamp set in this one, so cute, and the papers and little acorn stickers are adorable! the kit also included 2 ink pads which I used for the stamped edge detail, lovely colours aren't they!

I wanted the squirrels to be european red so I used a MISTI tool and a combination of brown and red ink pads to get the colour I needed.  The tool is perfect for precision stamping, even though they are clear stamps I can never align them up properly, I have wonky eyes ;-)

It's no surprise that this kit has totally sold out but you can still buy the individual elements if you like :-)
It really does pay to subscribe for the kits, go on, sign up, because you're worth it ;-)
