Wild Rose Studio Penguin With Present

Oh my goodness have you seen the new Penguin With Present which is a new release from the Wild Rose Studio, CUTE OR WHAT! ;-)

I am late with my DT card for the ABC Christmas Challenge, but as the saying goes, better late than never ;-)

This week our host is the lovely Lisa and the theme is

 'P' for Paper Piecing

I coloured the image with copic markers and paper pieced the present, there were a few fiddly bits in there and when I was about half way through I wished I had paper pieced his scarf instead ;-) I used papers from a new Birds and Berries Paper Pack, the papers in here are so pretty, all blues and gorgeous pastel colours.

I used a Stacked Stars Die to cut out some White Glitter Paper, this is super sparkly IRL!  I also have to point out the snowflakes, which don't show up very well on the photos, but I used a Nuvo White Blizzard 3D Glitter Drops, and they do look fabulous IRL ;-) 

I simply finished the inside, my ink pad was a bit dry so I didn't get a good stamping, I will use a stamp positioner and do it again later ;-)
