Thank you for joining us for the Try To Contain Yourself Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is
It's A Stitch Up
We would like to see a 'sewing' themed project this week. You can use either sewing themed stamps, dies etc or you could add real or faux stitching! Whatever you decide to use, we will be looking forward to seeing what you make!
I made a card using a Baby Blueprint Stamp Set and stitched the edges on my sewing machine ;-)
I started by blending Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress inks over Watercolor Paper and then used a Tim Holtz Rings Stamp inked with Aquamarine Archival Ink of the top. After stamping the Baby Rattle with Jet Black Archival I added texture using a Faded Dots Stencil and White Embossing paste.
I coloured the rattle with Distress Inks, fussy cut it out and shaped using an embossing tool.
I decorated the inside to make it a bit extra special ;-)
So now it's YOUR turn, Happy Crafting
You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in
We also have a Kids Vacation Challenge running for the whole month of August, CLICK HERE to go directly to the challenge where you will find all of the details plus you will see what our Junior design Team created!
