It is the lovely Kassa's last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and it has been wonderful getting to know her, she is definitely a super talented crafter and it has been a pleasure getting to know her over these past weeks. Thanks for everything Kassa!!! :-D

I made a Thanks card using Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. Whenever I think of Monochrome, I always think of old black and white photos so I stuck with it ;-)

I started by inking the edges of plain white card to use for layering.

I then used some White Embossing Powder to heat emboss a piece of Watercolor Paper using a Halftone Cling Stamp to create a resist.

I then blended the Hickory Smoke Distress Ink around the edges before using a brick wall mask, made by die cutting a Mixed Media 3 Thinlits Die, to add more interest. I used a Wildflowers Cling Stamp, inked using the same Hickory Smoke ink for the background.

I used a Wildflowers Die and a Thanks die cut for the focus and finished with a pice of Washi Tape and a White Twine Bow.

So now it's YOUR turn! choose a colour and get crafting :-)

If you want to see this girl have a panic attack, just tell me to work in gray! Yiiiipppppes! And yet I am so impressed and amazed at how beautiful your card turned out! It has a really sophisticated loveliness to it and all of those textures and patterns look incredible together. I especially dig the black Washi! This just goes to show how truly skilled you are and I really love this piece.

There is a lovely dreamy quality to your card. I love how the delicate flower and the slender font of the sentiment go together so well, against your fabulous background.

Thank you for sharing your lovely creation in our monochrome challenge.
