The Last Papertake Weekly Challenge

It is a sad day for us at the Papertake weekly Challenge, after running for 8 years it's time to pull down the shutters and close it up.

I was a GD in October 2009 and was thrilled when Dawny invited me to stay on the DT! It has been a lot of fun and it was so lovely to get to meet Dawny at the NEC too, we did have fun ;-)

It has been a real pleasure being on the team, we are all good friends and I know that we will keep in touch, it is a sad day but when one door closes another generally opens, so we will see what 2016 has to bring :-)

So for our last challenge the theme is

Choose Any Previous Challenge Theme!
so that is pretty much Anything Goes, that is a theme too! :-)

Simon Says Stamp is sponsoring with a $25 Gift Certificate

The DT have lots of prizes on their blogs too, so you need to hope around, leave comments AND enter the challenge in order to be eligible for our blog prizes

I chose the Let It Snow theme and made a shaker card using my new Fuse Tool, LOVE it :-)

I used a Falling Snow Stencil, some White Embossing Paste and a sprinkling or Prisma Glitter for the front, it doesn't show up too well in the photos, but it is lovely and sparkly IRL.

If you like making shakers and hate it when they leak the bits everywhere, then the Fuse Tool is definitely for you! It's so fun to use!! :-D

Thanks for looking. I hope you will join in the challenge and hope around the DT to say goodbye, it is the end of an era!

I will also give away a $25 to Simon Says Stamp

For a chance to win my $25 Gift Certificate to Simon Says Stamp you need to join in with the challenge AND leave me a comment on this post.

Thanks and I hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas and the happiest of New Year's :-)

Crafty Boots   Snow and Sparkle

Such a darling card with NN's darling foxes cuddling inside the shaker and the 'wintry wonderland' scene on the outside! The trees, snowflakes and patterned border are perfect special touches! Gorgeous! Sorry to hear that the challenge is closing, but we know you'll still be creating here! Thank you for brightening this snowy Monday morning!
