Stephanie Leykauf, Marketing Director at Simon Says Stamp, is celebrating her birthday today !! Woo Hoo !!

Simon wanted to make this day extra special and developed this fabulous Surprise Party Stamp and Die Set in Stephanie's honour :-)

Heidi, Stephanie and I were in London recently and we met with the UK based Wednesday Challenge Design Team girlies and also the wonderful Debby Hughes and Stephanie Wincott. A fabulous day was had by all, it was such a pleasure to meet everyone IRL :-)

Anyways ,,,  when Birthday Girl Steph wasn't looking, Heidi gave everyone a set to use for this Surprise Birthday Hop :-) 

This is the whole group at Simon's Lunch at Simpsons on the Strand,,, the food and the company were wonderful :-)

I used the sentiment stamps to create a 'Subway Art' style background using various Simon Ink Pads and then made a vellum banner to go over the top, this muted the shades a little and gave a bit more interest I thought :-)

I die cut the balloons from coordinating cardstock and smothered them in Prisma Glitter. 

tip : press the die cuts into clear pigment ink pad, smother with Judikins Sticky Stuff, heat to melt and then sprinkle with glitter. Much easier and less messy, than using glue.
