Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the  STAMPtember® Stamp-It Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND

there are so many ways to make your own backgrounds, using stencils, splattering, gelli plate printing etc

We are showcasing GELATOS made by FABER-CASTELL this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I used a 34 Piece Gelatos Gift Set. I love this set, it looks so pretty on my shelves :-) 

It would make a perfect Christmas Pressie for a special crafty friend,, or for yourself ,, you know you're worth it :-)

I loved playing with them and made 2 cards to share today 

First Up ,,, Seasons Greetings ! 

Did you know that Christmas is only 105 days away !! let the countdown begin !! :-)

To make the background I scribbled 2 different Blue Gelatos onto Watercolor card and then added a Metallic Blue too, I then spritzed with water and smooched the colours around with my finger to blend them. I then used a Soft Navy ink pad and a Friends Definition to stamp over the top before using a new Simon's Mosaic Stars Stencil and Embossing Paste over the top. 

Next up ,,, You're So Sweet !! 

I made this card using several of the Pink and Red shades of Gelatos and used the same technique as above, finger smooching :-) 

I love this new 'You're So Sweet' stamp set from the new release. I don't have the dies yet but I am definitely going to get them, fussy cutting isn't my forte :-)

I did consider dipping the strawberries in 'chocolate' but then decided to give them a 'sugar basket' topping instead ;-)

As you can see I even finished off the insides ! I like how this makes the cards a bit extra special, I think so anyways ,,,,, :-)
