Hi all :-) It's Friday !! I hope you're all looking forward to a weekend of fun things :-)

We still have the builders here and the whole house is a disaster area and FULL of dust ,, ughugh .. dreading the cleaning up ,,,,, anyways, while all that is going on I am just shutting myself in my craft room and turning the music on high to drown out the crash bang noises :-)

This weeks sketch on the Splitcoast Stampers site is a fab one and I just had to join in :-)

I love this new Simon's Exclusive Lavender Ink pad and Cardstock, the colour is lovely isn't it ! 

I used a Simon's Exclusive mask to create the block border and then splattered with Amethyst Color Shine before chopping a slanted bit out ( to fit with the sketch) and then used acetate in the middle. I then die cut a Hero Arts Spring Branch and sprayed that with the same mister.  The whole panel was then adhered to the lavender card with pop dots.

The sequins are from a company that is new to Simon,, Pretty Posh Pink ,, what a fab name :-) Sounds like it should be owned by a Spice Girl ;-)

Here you can see the acetate a bit better and the shadows created.
