Simon Says Stamp 'Large Merry Tree' :-)

Hi all  :-) Are you all ready for the weekend ? 

My niece and her partner will be heading off to get married in NYC along with many family and friends :-) I am sure they will all have a fabulous time and WISH I WAS THERE :-)

Good Luck Laura and Chris :-) They actually get married on Tuesday but there will be a mass exodus from Manchester airport this weekend,, so you may wish to avoid the area if you were planning a trip ,,,, haha :-)

I made this card using several of the new Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Products but the main focus is the Large Merry Tree designed by the lovely Kristina Werner :-)

This card took me ages ,,, I faffed about ALOT with this ,, do you do that or do you plan your cards ahead ,,, I should do that :-)

I stamped the tree with Iced Spruce DI then smothered with clear emboss ink then sprinkled with sticky embossing powder, heated, then sprinkled with Rock candy Distress Glitter ,,, It looks fabulously icy IRL :-) I used a new Snowflake stencil to make the background, using Stormy Sky and Iced Spruce DI then spaying with water. I then stamped and heat embossed white snowflakes. 

The only other thing to point out is the silver bow, that was cut out of silver tape.

 The photo's really don't capture the sparkle and crystalline effects on this ,,pity, cos it really looks fab IRL ,,, even if I do say so meself :-)
