A few weeks ago Sarah made THIS hexagon card for the ‘Trendy’ challenge which I LOVED so I thought I would CASE her idea :-)
I made an easel card using Spellbinders Hexagon dies and products from the Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit. I loved the little birds on this paper and used that as the starting point.
I used a Simon Says Stamp Exclusives Small Forest Tree die to cut out some shimmery card, I had mopped up the excess Lindy’s Stamp Gang Tawny Turquoise spray from a previous project and used it :-) I popped a cute little Studio Calico Wood Veneer Bird, adding a little eye with black Enamel Accents.
The twine and the button were also in the kit, isn’t that Basic Grey button gorgeous !! eta, the button and twine were also in the November Card Kit

Very unusual ...I've never used hexagons in my card making but this has worked really well - lovely card x
