Harry Potter’s Hedwig :-)

Hi all :-) I was just having a little play and made this cute corner bookmark to pop in a Harry Potter book, I thought it would make a cute gift and maybe encourage someone to open the book and read it ,,,, no names here ,,,,, don’t want to spoil the surprise ,,, :-)

The cute stamp is  from Art Impressions and is called Little Whoot . I thought he would make a perfect Hedwig ! :-)

As you know Hedwig is a Snowy Owl so not much colouring to do ,,,  what little I did was done with Copics :-) The paper is from a 7 Gypsies Camden pack (keeping it London themed ,,, ) :-)  and the branch is made using a Twigs and Berries die. Now comes the clever bit !! I made the lightening bolt on the Silhouette Cameo! ,,, worked out how to do that all by myself !!  ,,,,, lol ,,, I am useless at these things so this was a big achievement for me
Winking smile

I kept this really simple as it is going to be crushed between the pages ,,,, hopefully !!  I used some Scrap Dots to adhere Hedwig so he is filled up with silicone and hopefully he won’t get crushed :-)

Back View ,,,, very simple :-)
edited to add another one I made using the Griffindor colours ,,, :-)

thanks for looking :-) I hope you all have a lovely day and I would also like to say a HUGE welcome to my new followers Smile

Such a beautiful book mark! I have this pattern too but not got around to making one yet - will have to have a play this week! Love the owl, but I've always adored owls! Well done with the lightening bolt - I'm no use with technology myself! hugs Karen
