Happy World Cardmaking day !!! What a fabulous day to celebrate and I have good reason to celebrate !! My latest crafty parcel arrived from Simon Says Stamp TODAY !! YAY !! So I have lots of new stuff to play with,, well seeing as I couldn't come to the Ally Pally or the NEC this year I thought I should have a little treat to cheer myself up eh !! :-)
I had ordered several of the latest Simon Says Stamp Exclusives and couldn’t wait to try them out :-) First one out of the pack is this gorgeous Danville Wreath, soo pretty :-)
I used a very dark green card to die cut and then sprayed with Tawny Turquoise Moon Shadow Mist from Lindy’s Stamp Gang ,, so gorgeous and shimmery IRL. I also used the same card for layering and to punch out some Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterflies. I cut a 2 nd wreath and trimmed out the 3 larger flowers and sprinkled with Glitter Ritz Stardust ,, which just happens to be the exact colour of the Hero Arts Wet Cement ink I used on the Impression Obsession Gradation stamp, also new today :-)
The sentiment was in the ‘Talking about You’ stamp and die set :-)
There is a special celebration over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog ,,, just spotted it now ! So make a card and join in the fun !!

And...I'm following you now! :)
That wreath looks so delicate...does it come out of the die pretty well? sometimes if I have a die with thin little pieces they rip so I was just wondering. So pretty. I would be excited too and want to play with my new toys too.
