“Welcome to all ribbon lovers...."
For today I was going to make a hat to match the bag, ready for the garden party but it was a bit too much of a faff ,, wish I had now tho :-)
I kept the card CAS, using a Hero Arts Notecard as the base, some blue card and then stamped a piece of white Neenah card with an Envelope Pattern stamp and Colorbox red chalk ink. The fab stamp is from Stamposaurus, I LOVE this sentiment ,,, I used a Spellbinders Label 5 and I added some lovely patriotic ribbon from the Best of British collection (Crafty Ribbons) and added a few gems to the corners.
I made this cute little bag on my Silhouette Cameo,I thought it looked like a handbag the Queen might use to carry her gloves in :-) I stamped the bag using the same envelope pattern stamp and red ink, edged the flap with red stickles and added a fab heart Union Jack button. I loosely wrapped the red swiss dots organza ribbon around the handle and used the same ribbon as I used on the card to add bows on the sides :-)
Thanks for looking :-) Ali and the DT have all made fabulous creations for you to see so hop on over to the Inspiration blog to see them :-)
