April Showers bring Spring Flowers ,,,, :-)

Hi all :-) Crikey,,, it’s Tuesday already and time for a new challenge on the Papertake Weekly Challenge ,,

Dawny has made us a fab sketch to follow ,, YAY !! :-) I love this one ,,,

The lovely Heidi at Simon Says Stamp sent me the fab April Card Kit for my birthday recently ( thanks !! xx ) so I just had to use it for my card :-)

The lovely Kristina Werner decides on the contents of these kits and even designed the cute stamp set too ! clever lass eh !! :-)

I used mostly what was in the kit, the lilac Hero Arts card and papers from Lawn Fawn, the Chevron acetate overlay, prima flowers, washi tape and the stamps :-) I stamped the brolly with memento ink onto Neenah card and then again onto some patterned paper to decoupage and paper piece.

I cut one of the raindrop stamps from the strip and inked it with versamark ink, randomly stamped and embossed with white embossing powder and then swirled some Dusty Concord ink over the top. I used a Martha Stewart leaf and border punch, some Hemptique twine and a Basic Grey button, the charm was a gift from America :-)
