Hi all :-) are you all nearly ready for Christmas ?? I still need to do a little bit of shopping but my tree is up and the mince pies and puddings are done ,, I am not making a cake this year,,, only Hubby eats it and he can do without lol ,,, :-) I still need to make a few cards but am now thinking of resorting to charity cards ,, :-)

Simon Says ,,,,Sketch Time

For fabulous tutorials, inspiration and candy you should keep an eye on the Simon Says Stamp Blog tooIts a good idea to keep a check on the All New Just In Pages , there is invariably some new goodies listed and it is a handy way to keep up to date with all things new and crafty !!

For my card I used this very cute Marci with Snowman image, I coloured with Copics and popped the snowman in front on pop dots for extra dimension. I then inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress Ink and added Polar White Flower soft to the snowman’s hat, White Fun Flock to her boot trim and Martha Stewart fine white glitter to the snowball.

I made the snowy sky background by stamping various snowflakes from a Lawn Fawn Critters in the Snow set, using Versamark ink on white Neenah cardstock, I then heat embossed with hero Arts white embossing powder and inked over the top with the stormy sky DI.

To keep to the sketch I tore strips of white card to create snow drifts, sprayed with Diamond Glimmer Mist ( very sparkly IRL) and then glittered the edges with Ice Stickles. I punched out a few snowflakes, inked and glittered and I added Hero Arts Sea dots to some and crystal gems to others to finish :-)
