Simon Says ,,,,,, Punch Em'

Thank You to everyone who joined in with our 'Give Thanks' Challenge last week :-)and a special Thank You to those of you who actually sent their cards to Vera for the Caring Hearts Card Drive :-) I am sure Vera will have lots of cards to send out for Thanksgiving and Christmas :-)

This week we have a fab new theme for you ,,,

'PUNCH EM' ,,, time to get your punches and die cuts out

Our lovely GD, Dawny P, and the DT have used Hero Arts products on their cards if they had them. If you have any Hero Arts we would love to see them on your creations too but you don't have to use them to join in :-)

As usual the lovely Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant a $25 spree to her Simon Says Stamp Store , there are so many fab new products in there and the gorgeous new Magnolia Merry Little Christmas stamps are available to pre order too ,, they will be arriving very soon !! Check out theAll New Just In section too ,, the new Nellie Snellen stamps have arrived ,, Super Cute !!

For my card I used various stamps from the Sew Stylish and Sew Artsy clear sets. I LOVE these ! The punches I used are a Binding Edge punch , very similar to this EK Success one, and a Square Spellbinders Die cut

The Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby papers are perfect with these stamps ,they even have a sewing pattern in them ! I coloured the manequin with Copics and stamped the image again onto Claudine Hellmuth's sticky backed canvas too,I coloured the canvas with a green Copic marker and cut out. I stamped the sewing machine onto a scrap of the TH paper and cut that out too, I then coloured a little scrap of the canvas,, coloured it pink and added a few faux stitches with a copic pigment pen. The papers were all distressed with a Tim Holtz Paper Distresser and stamped with the faux stitches in the Hero Arts set. I was going to get my sewing machine out ,, but the faux sewing is sew much easier ,,, lol :-)( couldn't resist ;-)) I used a few inches of the TH Ruler Ribbon a few Basic Grey Buttons and a little American Tag Hemp Twine (the colour I have used is OOS at the mo' but it will be back in store soon.)

A couple of close ups ,,, :-)

I am entering this into the Simon says Stamp Challenge on the Papercrafts Planet site which has the theme of Buttons Galore :-) I hope you will join in with both challenges too :-)

Challenges :

A Spoonful of Sugar ,,,,, Lets Get Punchy
Creative Card Crew ,,, Punch It Out
My time to Craft ,,,,,, Pick a Pocket or 2 ,, ( that is a pocket being sewn on the machine :-))

Dawny P and the DT have made some gorgeous cards for your inspiration so hop on over to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog to see them :-)
A special Thank You to Kath ,, I did have a lovely browse around her blog , she is THE Queen of hero Arts and I had alot of inspiration from her fab blog :-)
